Blitzy Boy is a non-profit organization that donates 100% of its proceeds to help families in Watauga County who may not be able to afford the necessary care for their sick dog. It’s inspired by our rescue PUG, Blitzy Boy, who battled diabetes and lost his vision. While we were fortunate enough to afford the insulin and cataract surgery for Blitzy Boy, we learned that many families facing similar conditions either walk out without providing care or choose to put their family dog down. We are determined to change that!

By partnering with The Animal Hospital of Boone at discounted rates, Blitzy Boy will help cover costs for people who express their inability to afford it. The Animal Hospital of Boone will serve as the eyes and ears of our cause, preventing good people from leaving without the necessary care for their loved ones. Decisions will be made right there at the vet’s office, providing relief and hope for families in need. Together, we are going to help families care for and potentially save their family dog!
